This document explains about the different VAST event trackers and the actions they trigger to enhance the value of video ads. The VAST event trackers enable you to conveniently track time-based events for all the VAST ads without any workaround using impression trackers. They help in streaming video ads, produce detailed VAST event reports and improve campaign performance.

About VAST Events

  • These events are available for all VAST ads.
  • The event logs are available in VAST events report.
Note: When two events are fired simultaneously, both get recorded.
  • Users can view the VAST event reports data with the logins given to them.
  • The new events data is available in VAST Event Reports>> VAST Event Metrics.
  • You can also define a 3rd Party research vendor tag to track specific VAST events.
  • The event logs are available in VAST events report.
